My name is Makayla, I’m 22, and I’m a new wife and mom! I married the most wonderful man in the world in January of 2019! He also has a blog called, “The Rugged Hipster”. Go check him out! He talks about coffee, coffee shops, camping, hiking, and other hipster things! We both enjoy all these fun hipster things together, especially when we get the chance to travel (which is becoming more difficult now that we’re parents). I became a mom in October of 2019 when our sweet baby Anna Katherine was born! The best part about reading my blog is I JUST became a wife and mom, so you get to follow along with me on this journey from nearly the beginning! I love being a wife and mother and it’s my full time job! I’ll be blogging about all sorts of things like: past experiences from when I was a kid, honeymoon and wedding planning, being a wife, cooking, cleaning, life hacks, and all things pregnancy and momming! I’ll also be including a “Story of the Week” at the end of every blog that could be a story from years ago or just that week, but I want you guys to get to know me some so please read my stories even if you don’t read the post!
